Diane Carty Speicher has lived her life for the last 25 years trying to bring children closer to God and spreading messages of faith, compassion and self-confidence. Her journey began when, in 1979, Pope John Paul II blessed her as a messenger of God.

Funding cuts 'Needy and naughty' Saratoga Library
Plans for Celebrate Saratoga! are on hold.  More Liz Kniss, chairwoman of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, addressed a small crowd at the Saratoga Library last week to speak about the state of the county.  More Diana Lai, an eighth-grader at Redwood Middle School, says she wants to give back to the community. Lai does that by volunteering at the Saratoga Library.  More
