Sheriff's Report
Drug Use--On April 29 at 11 a.m. on Prospect Road. Deputies apprehended a few juveniles who seemed to be under the influence of a drug. They had glossy eyes, spoke slowly and appeared confused. All of them had consumed a cough and cold medicine in order to get high. The juveniles were cited and released to their parents.

Attempted Burglary--On April 28 at 7:20 a.m. on Devon Avenue. Someone removed a wood panel and tried to enter a house. The person was arrested and charged with attempted burglary.

Unlicensed Driver--On April 28 at 2:18 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A car was stopped for speeding. Deputies found an unlicensed driver at the wheel. Another passenger in the car was under the influence of alcohol. Methamphetamine and smoking pipes were also found in the car. The driver and his passenger were arrested.

Auto Burglary--Between April 27 and 28 on Bucknall Road. Someone smashed the window of car and took a car stereo worth $200.

Attempted Theft--On April 27 between 3:30 and 6:15 p.m. on Bucknall Road. Someone attempted to steal a car parked on the road but was unsuccessful. A set of keys were left behind in the car.

Residential Burglary--On April 27 between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Miljevich Drive. Someone stole three items from a closet. The owner of the house said that her nephew could be a possible suspect.

Marijuana Possession--On April 26 at 6:50 p.m. on Quito Road. Deputies stopped a car for a driving violation. They found a small amount of marijuana in the car. The driver was cited and released.

Vandalism--Between April 21 and 23 on Prospect Road. Someone damaged all the tires of a car. The tires were worth $700.

Fictitious Check--Between April 7 at 1 p.m. and April 25 at 7:10 p.m. on Quito Road. Someone mailed a fraudulent check for $3,750 to a local resident and asked the person to keep $550 while sending the remaining amount to an address in Nigeria.
