Sheriff's Report
Burglary--Between May 28 at 11:30 a.m. and May 29 at 7 a.m. on Herriman Avenue. Someone gained entry into the office of a church and stole $100 in cash.

Grass Party--On May 28 at 2:07 a.m. on Radoyka Drive. Seven juveniles were stopped for suspicious activity. Three were in possession of marijuana. They were cited and released to their parents.

Friendly Brawl--On May 26 at midnight on Lynde Avenue. A person punched a neighbor in the chest after making a comment about his girlfriend. The neighbor retaliated by punching the man on the chin. Both were injured and had to be given medical help. They declined to press charges against each other.

Marijuana Possession--On May 25 at 11:50 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A man was observed staggering on the sidewalk. When a deputy tried to evaluate the man's sobriety, he dropped a bag of marijuana on the ground. He was arrested and booked into the main jail.

Tree removal--On May 25 at 10 a.m. on Fruitvale Avenue. Sheriff's deputies received a report about a tree being cut down. The owner of the property did not know that a permit was required for removing a tree. The landscaping company he had hired had not advised him about the permit either.

Weapon Possession--On May 23 at 11 a.m. on Prospect Road. A campus security officer stopped a car. He found a 3-inch knife in the car. The driver of the car was cited and released.

Forgery--Between April 25 and May 26 on Miller Avenue. Seven checks were stolen from a mailbox. A checking account number was subsequently used to pay two credit card bills. The suspect is still at large.
