Sheriff's Report
Vandalism--Between Aug. 9 and 10 on Malcolm Avenue. An unknown person(s) threw a propane canister at a parked vehicle. The canister smashed the windshield and rolled onto the hood, leaving dents and scrapes.

Grand Theft--On Aug. 9 at 10:30 a.m. on Easton Drive. An unknown person took a line trimmer and a hedge trimmer from the back of the victim's truck. The victim had seen a white pickup truck stop near the back of his truck but did not observe anyone taking the trimmers. The estimated value of the trimmers is $825.

Residential Burglary--On Aug. 9 between 1 and 7 a.m. on Bellgrove Circle. The victim awoke to find his front door partially ajar. Property worth approximately $10,000 had been taken from the residence. There were no signs of forced entry.

Vehicle Vandalism--Between Aug. 8 and 10 on Calle Montalvo. The victim parked his vehicle in front of his residence. During the night, the vehicle's windshield was broken. Nothing was taken from the vehicle and there was no other damage.

Drunk In Public--On Aug. 8 between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. on Pierce Road and Vintage Lane. A person was observed walking in a field yelling. The person had been in a verbal dispute over a lost pair of glasses. The officer detected the odor of alcohol and noticed the person had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and an unsteady gate. The officer placed the person under arrest.

Vandalism--On Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. on Pierce Road and Regan Lane. The reporting party discovered a community mailbox had been broken into. The reporting party did not know if any mail had been taken. Damage to the mailbox was estimated at approximately $1,000.
