Sheriff's Report
Threatening Phone Call--On Aug. 27 between 10 and 10:53 p.m. on Sara View Court. A person made three phone calls and left one threatening message directed at the victim. The person said if he were to see the victim he would cut the victim's head off. The victim was adamant about having a report taken.

Grand Theft--Sometime between 7 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 27 on Teerlink Way. An unknown person(s) took several pieces of construction equipment from an unlocked shed outside the residence. The value of the equipment was estimated at $4,878.

Burglary, Residential--Sometime between 11 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 5 p.m. on Aug. 26 on Saratoga Creek Drive. An unknown person(s) entered a residence through an open kitchen window. The person(s) ripped through the window screen and stole approximately $8,000 worth of jewelry from the master bedroom.

Vandalism--On Aug. 25 between 8:30 and noon on Melinda Circle. The victim parked his 2002 Lexus RX 300 in front of McAuliffe Elementary School. When he returned, he noticed a large scratch along the driver's door. The victim did not see who caused the scratch. He estimated the damage at $500.

Possession of a Controlled Substance--On Aug. 25 at 1:26 a.m. on Bucknall Road and Quito Road. The officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and was given permission by the driver to search the vehicle. The officer located prescription pills inside a backpack in the car and a glass bottle containing marijuana concentrate in the driver's purse. The officer booked the driver into the main jail.

Possession of Paraphernalia--On Aug. 24 at 5:36 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue and Lawrence Expressway. The officer stopped a driver for failing to signal. The driver said that he was unlicensed and admitted to having a "crack pipe" in the trunk. The officer found a clear glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine. The pipe had a white residue similar to methamphetamine. The driver was cited and released.

Grand Theft--On Aug. 20 between 8 and 10 p.m. on Ashley Way. During a party at the victim's house, a wallet belonging to one of the guests disappeared along with an iPod belonging to the victim. The wallet was found on top of a vehicle on the street and was missing $240. The victim estimated the value of the missing iPod at $329.
