Drunk in Public--On Sept. 27 at 7:56 a.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. An officer made contact with a person who had an unsteady gait, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol. The officer determined that the person was unable to drive and booked him into the main jail.
Battery--On Sept. 27 between 2:10 and 2:30 p.m. on Prospect Road. A 15-year-old nonstudent confronted a student on campus and struck him in the head five to 10 times, causing injury. The person ran but was caught by a school administrator. The person was already on probation for other violations and was booked into juvenile hall.
Battery--On Sept. 27 between 4:30 and 4:35 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A person accused the victim of sleeping with his ex-girlfriend. He attempted to punch the victim, who was inside a vehicle. The person was unable to strike the victim through the open window and opened the driver side door. He grabbed the victim's shirt and attempted to pull him out of the vehicle. Two witnesses told the person to stop or they would call the police. The person left the scene and remains at large.
Residential Burglary--On Sept. 26 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Swarthmore Drive. The victim returned home and found the front door open. The victim discovered many items missing and the window to the master bedroom open.
Residential Burglary--On Sept. 26 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Vanderbilt Drive. An unknown person entered a vacant residence through a kitchen window. Jewelry, cash and a laptop were stolen at a total value of approximately $6,900. The burglar left through the front door.
