Sheriff's Report
Arson, Vandalism—Sometime between Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. and Oct. 16 at 6:45 a.m. on Shadow Mountain Drive. An unknown person burned a trash can. The can was melted. The total damage was about $30. On Oct. 9, a similar incident occurred at the same location but was not reported to the police.

Construction After 5 p.m. on Saturday—On Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. on Portos Drive. A person and his workers were working past 5 p.m. The person thought he had until 6 p.m. to work. The person was cited and released. The report is being forwarded to the city attorney for prosecution.

Burglary—Sometime between Oct. 14 at 4:30 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. on Villa Oaks Lane. An unknown person cut two locks from a storage shed on a residential construction site and stole a slide saw and a sander with an approximate value of $800.

Burglary, Vandalism—Sometime between Oct. 14 at 4:30 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. on Pierce Road. An unknown person gained access to an uninhabited residence by breaking a window, causing more than $400 in damage. The person removed almost $6,000 in stereo/video equipment.

Burglary, Residential—On Oct. 13 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Via Madronas Drive. A person entered a home and took two digital cameras and a gym bag with a watch and $100 in cash. The person left through the front door.

Conspiracy, Battery on a Person at School—On Oct. 11 between 2 and 2:30 p.m. on Prospect Road and Lawrence Expressway. A group of non-students entered the school campus. The group confronted a group of students and began fighting in the school parking lot. All parties were identified with the help of the school dean.
