Possession of Marijuana--On Oct. 23 at 11:20 p.m. at Highway 35 and Highway 9. The officer observed a vehicle parked illegally in an unincorporated part of Saratoga. The officer smelled marijuana on the occupants. The officer searched the vehicle and found two small bags of marijuana and a fake driver's license.
Found Bicycle--On Oct. 22 at 5:10 p.m. on Glen Brae Drive. An officer noticed a mountain bike on the curb in front of a home. The resident said the bike did not belong to him. He said it might belong to a suspicious person who was in the area sitting on the curb earlier in the day.
Vandalism--On Oct. 22 at 8:30 p.m. on Juniper Way. An unknown person shot a BB gun into a residence. The victim was sitting at his desk by the window at the time of the incident. No one was injured. The cost to fix the window was estimated at $150.
Identity Theft--On Oct. 22 at 10 p.m. on Trinity Avenue. A woman felt that her soon to be ex-husband was guilty of identity theft. She had learned that he had opened a bank account using a different last name. The woman insisted that a report be taken for identity theft.
Vandalism--On Oct. 21 at 7 a.m. on Herriman Avenue and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A car was parked in a staff parking lot. The owner noticed a long scratch on the driver's side of her car that was not there when she arrived for work in the morning.
Possession of Alcohol--On Oct. 19 between 2:39 and 3:40 p.m. on Prospect Road and Johnson Avenue. An officer saw a person driving at a high rate of speed on Prospect Road. The officer stopped the vehicle and saw an open vodka bottle in the back seat in plain view. The driver took out one more bottle from the vehicle.
