The Saratoga Village Development Council presents one event that it hopes will provide two benefits at the same time--allowing attendees to cross several people off their Christmas lists early, and stimulating revenue for many Saratoga Village businesses.
The Boutique Bazaar Fashion Show will take place on Nov. 6, 4-7 p.m., at the Saratoga Foothill Club, 20399 Park Place behind the fire station. The event aims to highlight unique Saratoga shops, with proceeds going to the SVDC for banners and other beautification efforts in the village.
Flobell Boutique will supply outfits for the fashion show. Among the models will be a City Clerk Cathleen Boyer, Saratoga Chamber of Commerce director Kathy Phelan, Chris VanHoy of Curves For Women and other Saratoga residents. In addition to Flobell, other Village businesses will have booths at the event to sell their wares.
"The whole purpose of this event is to show Saratogans that we have wonderful shops in the village," says Jill Hunter, chairwoman of the SVDC.
