Shaun Tsakiris, a Saratoga native who has been a soccer star since his teen years, has defied all the odds. He overcame testicular cancer to return to professional soccer barely three months after finishing his last round of chemotherapy, and he fathered a child, which doctors told him it would likely be impossible.
