Sheriff's Report
False Documents--On Nov.13 at 3:45 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A person ran a red light and was stopped. The person admitted using false documents to receive a Honduran passport and thereby a California driver's license. A new Honduran passport and the fake documents from the DMV were in his wallet and glove box.

Drunk in Public--On Nov. 12 at 1:52 a.m. on Highway 85 and Saratoga Avenue. A shirtless person ran across Highway 85 and continued running north on the right shoulder. The person smelled of alcohol, had red eyes, slurred speech and was disoriented. The person was arrested and booked into the main jail.

Speeding--On Nov. 9 at 4:50 p.m. on Quito Road and Saratoga Avenue. A vehicle was observed making a U-turn. As the vehicle was turning, the driver accelerated, fishtailing the rear of the vehicle and squealing the tires. The officer stopped and cited the driver.

Burglary--On Nov. 8 between 8:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Vanderbilt Drive. The rear garage door to a residence was forced open. A laptop and various pieces of jewelry were taken from the residence. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $2,900.

Marijuana--On Nov. 8 at 10:20 a.m. on Prospect Road. A minor was found to be in possession of approximately 1.4 grams of marijuana and two packs of Camel cigarettes on school grounds.

Equipment Theft--On Nov. 1 between 9 and 10 a.m. on Hill Avenue. Landscaping equipment was taken from an unattended trailer. The value of the stolen equipment is estimated at $2,491.
