Soliciting--On Nov. 26 at 4 p.m. on Kosich Drive and Kosich Court. A person was soliciting magazine subscriptions without a permit. The officer seized the person's business books as evidence. The person was cited and released at the scene.
Marijuana, Curfew--On Nov. 26 at 12:53 a.m. on Sobey Road and Quito Road. An officer contacted a suspicious juvenile in a parked car. The officer saw a pill container containing marijuana in plain view on the passenger seat. The officer issued a juvenile contact report and released the juvenile at the scene.
Marijuana--On Nov. 25 at 10:20 p.m. on Fourth Street. Two officers approached two people sitting on a park bench in the dark. One person admitted to having marijuana and handed it to the officers. The person was cited and released.
Burglary--On Nov. 24 sometime between 2 p.m. and 4:22 p.m. A person arrived home at 4:22 p.m. The front door was ajar, several rooms had been ransacked and property was missing. A window in the front of the house had been the point of entry and the front door was the point of exit. An officer lifted three print cards from the scene.
Marijuana--On Nov. 23 at 3:19 a.m. on Prospect Road and Saratoga Avenue. An officer stopped a vehicle. The officer detected an odor of marijuana. A search revealed five small plastic bags of marijuana in a leather glove beneath the driver's seat. The driver admitted to ownership of the marijuana and was cited and released.
Attempted Burglary--On Nov. 23 at 11:53 a.m. on Somerville Drive. A person reported that three males were in her backyard trying to open doors to the house. She was able to identify them by name. She reported that they had run away when they saw her. A deputy saw the three males and made a pedestrian stop. The males admitted to attempting to burglarize the home. Two of the males were released to their father and the third was booked into the main jail.
