Burglary--On Feb. 3 between 11:10 and 11:22 p.m. on Knollwood Drive. An unknown man entered a house through an unlocked rear door. The resident was home and saw the man inside her house. The man stole several DVDs with a value of $358. He remains at large.
Methamphetamine--On Feb. 3 at 3:06 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue and Bucknall Road. An officer stopped a person and discovered that the person was on parole. The person had methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in a rear pocket and had a suspended driver's license. The person was booked into the main jail and the car was towed.
Dumping Feces--On Feb. 2 at 5:10 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. An anonymous caller reported that a person was dumping something near a waterway. The person had dumped a significant amount of human feces into a parking lot. The person was cited and released.
Attempted Burglary--On Feb. 2 at 1:23 a.m. on Paseo Pueblo and Quito Road. A resident of a home heard something at his bedroom window. When the resident opened the blinds he saw a homeless-looking man wearing a shaggy gray beanie trying to open the window with his hands. The resident called 911. When he looked out the window again, the man was gone.
Grand Theft--On Feb. 1 between 9:45 and 10:15 a.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A person entered a supermarket and took a large amount of anti-fungal foot cream with a total value of $415.57. The person ran out of the store with the foot cream without paying.
Grand Theft--On Jan. 31 between 2:10 and 4:30 p.m. on Herriman Avenue. An unknown person entered a women's locker room and stole a purse. The purse was underneath the owner's clothes and backpack under a bench. The purse contained a cell phone, an iPod and jewelry with a total estimated value of $2,200.
Theft by Credit Card--Sometime between midnight on Jan. 20 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 30 on Glasgow Drive. An unknown person in Chicago used another person's credit card to make purchases totaling almost $800. The credit card owner has since canceled the card.
