Sheriff's Report
Methamphetamine--On Feb. 25 at 4:47 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue and Seagraves Way. An officer stopped a vehicle with an expired registration. The officer noticed that the driver exhibited symptoms of being under the influence of methamphetamine. The driver resisted arrest and was transported to the main jail.

Petty Theft--On Feb. 25 at 4:20 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A person left his bike out in front of a store. When he returned, the bike was gone. The value of the bike was estimated at $300.

Controlled Substance--On Feb. 24 at 6:15 a.m. on Big Basin Way. A person was stopped in a vehicle prior to a probation search of his residence. The person was carrying in his pockets three small bags containing methamphetamine. Two more small bags containing methamphetamine were found at his residence, along with $440 in cash, a glass pipe, two portable scales and narcotics packaging material.

Marijuana--On Feb. 23 at 4:30 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and Blauer Drive. An officer smelled marijuana after contacting two people in a vehicle. The two people were cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Felony Vandalism--On Feb. 22 between 2 and 4 a.m. on Dagmar Drive and Fontaine Drive. Someone shattered the back window and driver-side windows of a vehicle parked in a residential driveway. Damage was estimated at $500.

Vandalism--Sometime between 9 p.m. on Feb. 21 and 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 on Oakhaven Drive. Someone threw eggs at a residence, breaking a glass casing on a lamp on the front lawn. Damage to the lamp was estimated at $300.

Burglary--Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 21 on Sobey Road. A person arrived at a work site and found two pieces of equipment had been removed from a garage overnight. Losses were estimated at $600.
