Stolen Vehicle Recovery--On March 12 at 1:51 a.m. on Sobey Road and Omega Lane. An officer located an unoccupied vehicle that had been vandalized. The keys were still in the vehicle. The officer had the vehicle towed.
Marijuana--On March 11 at 12:18 a.m. on Prospect Road and Saratoga Avenue. An officer pulled over a vehicle. The driver was in possession of 11.7 grams of marijuana and about 100 small plastic bags. The driver, who had no driver's license, said he was planning to fill the bags with marijuana and sell them for $20 each.
Found Bones--On March 11 between 11 a.m. and noon on Fourth Street and Big Basin Way. A person found several bones at Wildwood Park in the creek bed. He collected the bones, placed them in a paper bag and delivered them to the sheriff's office. The bones were taken to the coroner's office and determined to be non-human.
Heroin, Valium--On March 9 at 12:15 a.m. on Highway 85 and Saratoga Avenue. An officer pulled over a vehicle. A search turned up seven Valium pills and two Percoset pills in the driver's purse. The driver was also carrying an eyedropper that contained liquid heroin.
Assault and Battery--On March 8 at 11 a.m. on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. A woman became upset with her mother's primary caregiver at an assisted living facility. The woman accused the caregiver of not changing her mother's clothing in a timely manner. The caregiver reported that the woman screamed at her, grabbed her and shook her several times.
Burglary--Sometime between 5 p.m. on March 6 and 5 p.m. on March 7 on Sobey Road. A person reported that someone entered his shed and took approximately $600 in tools.
Vandalism--Sometime between 8 a.m. on Feb. 27 and 8 a.m. on March 6 on Scotland and Glasgow drives. An unknown person spray-painted "Bush" on three stop signs underneath the printed "Stop." The cost to repaint the signs was less than $400.
Found Property--On March 8 at 4:50 p.m. on St. Charles and Sixth streets. An anonymous person reported finding two tree-climbing spikes. The spikes were booked into the evidence room at the sheriff's office for safekeeping.
Burglary--On March 7 between 7:30 a.m. and 7:55 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue. An unknown person entered a residence through a window. The person took $900 in cash, various coins from a piggy bank and an unopened box containing 125 new checks.
