Sheriff's Report
Methamphetamine--On April 9 at 5 a.m. on Montalvo Road. An officer noticed that a person displayed signs of being under the influence of a stimulant. A search of the person revealed two hypodermic needles inside a backpack.
Grand Theft--On April 7 between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m. on Saraglen Drive. A person placed her purse on her porch while bringing in shopping bags from her car. Someone stole the purse.
Burglary--On April 7 between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Ranfre Lane. Someone entered a residence by prying open a door leading into a garage. The person then broke open a door inside the garage that leads into the house. Two laptops, two iPods and a Sony Playstation were stolen.
Burglary--On April 7 between 8 and 11 a.m. on Jerries Drive. While a man was at work and his wife out on errands, someone entered the residence and stole $10,573 worth of electronic equipment and jewelry.
Cruelty to a Child--On April 6 at 3 p.m. on Sullivan Way. A woman reported her 2-year-old boy was injured while in the care of a nanny. A doctor diagnosed and corrected the boy's elbow, which had been dislocated. At this time, the report of child abuse is inconclusive.
Arson--On April 5 at 2:15 p.m. on Prospect Road. A shoe was lit on fire inside a locker in a boys' locker room.
Burglary--On April 5 between 1:45 and 3:15 p.m. on Lexington Drive. A person ransacked a house, stealing jewelry, stereo equipment and computer equipment. Fingerprints were lifted at the scene.
Theft by Credit Card--Sometime between 9 a.m. on April 2 and 10 a.m. on April 6 on Big Basin Way. Someone used a person's credit card number to make purchases totaling more than $1,000. The victim was still in possession of his credit cards and did not know how his account number had been obtained.
