Sheriff's Report

Unlawful Registration--On April 29 at 3:17 p.m. on Prospect Road and Saratoga Avenue. An officer stopped a vehicle for not displaying a license plate. The temporary permit in the rear window of the vehicle belonged to a different vehicle.

Battery--On April 28 between 11 and 11:30 p.m. on Burnett Drive. An unknown person, who remains at large, punched another person.

Annoying Phone Calls--On April 28 at 11 a.m. on Villa Oaks Lane. Two people met at a party. One of them has been calling the other at least once a day for the past two months and has also mailed explicit letters to the person.

Battery--On April 28 between 9:50 and 10 a.m. on Prospect Road. One person punched another person numerous times in the head over a gang-related incident. They have had previous altercations.

Stimulant--On April 27 at 2:20 p.m. on Prospect Road and Lyle Avenue. An officer pulled over a vehicle with an expired registration. The driver displayed symptoms of being on a stimulant. The driver admitted to using methamphetamine.

Attempted Burglary--On April 26 between 7:40 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. on Miller Drive. Someone attempted to gain entry to a residence by prying a screen from a window. The person did not gain entry but damaged the screen.

Battery--On April 26 between 9:55 and 10 a.m. on Prospect Road. A female was watching a group of males argue. She told them to stop arguing and start fighting. Someone began arguing with her, which led to a physical altercation.

Vandalism--Sometime between 5 p.m. on April 26 and 8 a.m. on April 27 on De Sanka Avenue. Someone spray painted "C.R.E.A.M." on a portable building on school grounds.

Petty Theft--On April 22 between 3:30 and 7 p.m. on Sea Gull Way. A female stole her mother's cell phone. The female, who lives in Southern California, has since disappeared. The mother has filed a missing person's report and is also requesting prosecution.
