Sheriff's Report

Grand Theft--On May 7 between 10:20 and 10:45 a.m. on Park Place. An unknown person stole a black bookbag containing a laptop computer and computer accessories from an unlocked office. The items were valued at approximately $4,500.

Commercial Burglary--On May 3 between 12:30 and 2:33 p.m. on Big Basin Way. Someone gained entry to a restaurant through an air conditioning duct. Nothing was stolen, but several air conditioning ducts had been broken into.

Burglary--On May 1 between noon and 8 p.m. on Paseo Olivos Way. Someone entered a residence through an open master bedroom sliding screen door. The person took $20,000 worth of jewelry from a jewelry chest.

Unlawful Registration--On April 29 at 3:17 p.m. on Prospect Road and Saratoga Avenue. An officer stopped a vehicle for not displaying license plates. The temporary operating permit in the rear window did not belong to the vehicle.
