Sheriff's Report
Resisting Arrest--On May 28 at 2:03 a.m. on Big Basin Way. An intoxicated person resisted an officer and was injured during the arrest. The person then kicked a firefighter who was checking him. He also kicked out the back window of a police vehicle while being transported to the main jail.
Marijuana--On May 28 at 1:17 a.m. on Vista Arroyo Court and Parker Ranch Road. An officer smelled marijuana coming from a car that was parked in violation of the city parking ordinance. A search of the car turned up two containers of marijuana. Two people in the car were cited and released.
Residential Burglary--On May 26 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on McFarland and Devon avenues. A person broke into a house through a window. The person ransacked the house, taking jewelry and a digital camera.
Vandalism--Sometime between 4 p.m. on May 26 and 4:14 a.m. on May 27 on Fruitvale Avenue and Montauk Drive. Twenty-eight padlocks were broken off lockers. The lockers appeared to have been searched. Twenty-four print cards were submitted as evidence.
Grand Theft--Sometime between 8 a.m. on May 24 and 10 p.m. on May 26 on Ardmore Court. A moving company parked a 40-foot container in front of a home and loaded it with the resident's belongings. The container was gone the next morning with no warning from the moving company. The resident was unable to contact the company over the weekend but planned to try again during the week.
