Top Little League teams in TOCs

Local Little Leagues have crowned champions over the last couple of weeks, and the best of the best will come together this week in the District 12 Tournament of Champions.
The champs of the major division will converge at the Saratoga Little League's Congress Springs Park on June 17 to open the district TOC. First-round games pit Cambrian Park against Los Gatos American and San Jose American against Saratoga at 10 a.m.; Los Gatos National against Lincoln Glen and Branham Hills against Almaden North at 12:30 p.m.; and Almaden South against Union and Quito against Willow Glen at 3 p.m.
Winners will return to the Saratoga diamonds on June 19 with the Cambrian-LG American winner facing the Lincoln Glen-LG National winner and the American-Saratoga winner meeting the Branham-Almaden North winner at 5:30 p.m.
The Almaden South-Union and Quito-Willow Glen winners will draw byes into 5:30 p.m. games Tuesday against the Monday winners, and the two undefeated teams will meet for the TOC crown on June 21, 5:30 p.m.
Minor division TOC play will be split between the Willow Glen Little League and San Jose American Little League fields.
Play begins on June 17 with games pitting Cambrian Park-Saratoga (10 a.m.), Lincoln Glen-Almaden North (12:30 p.m.) and Almaden South-Willow Glen (3 p.m.) at Willow Glen's Branham Park on Willow Street in San Jose, and with clashes between American-Los Gatos American (10 a.m.), Branham Hills-Los Gatos National (12:30 p.m.) and Union-Quito (3 p.m.) at American's Woodland field, 2280 Kenwood Ave. in San Jose.
Winners will square off on June 19 and 20, 5:30 p.m., on both fields with the championship game set for June 22, 5:30 p.m., at the Willow Glen field.
