Sheriff's Report

Battery--On July 14 at 3:30 a.m. at Paseo Lado and Quito Road. A man and a woman were in a verbal argument. The man then pushed the woman, struck her ear and pinched her arm.

Vandalism of a vehicle--From July 10-12 between 8 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. on Portos Drive. Unknown persons threw eggs at vehicles causing a 2-inch circular paint chip on the hood of one vehicle and causing $500 in damage.

Petty theft--On July 14 between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. on Walden Court. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle from the driver's side door and stole a portable CD player valued at $50.

Vandalism--On July 14 between 10 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Sommerville Court. Someone smashed the front driver door window of a vehicle parked in a residential driveway. No items were taken.

Robbery--On July 13 at 7:24 p.m. on Saratoga Sunnyvale Road. A man entered a store and grabbed a bottle of vodka. The clerk told the man to put it back and he pulled a knife and told the clerk to stay away. The man then grabbed another bottle of alcohol and exited the store.
