Sheriff's Report

Burglary--On Aug. 5 at 11:09 p.m. on Parker Ranch Road at Vista Arroyo. Two people forced their way into a residence through the front door, stealing $2,000 in property, $41 in cash and an unknown amount in foreign currency. They were arrested at the scene.

Vandalism--On Aug. 5 at 1 a.m. on Prospect Road at Lawrence Expressway. Several females were involved in a fight. One person was punched in the face, and several glass beer bottles were thrown into the street. One bottle broke the rear window of a Mercedes, causing $500 in damages.

Carjacking--On Aug. 3 between 6:05 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. on Casa Blanca Lane. Two men walked up to a running vehicle parked in a driveway and got in and drove away. When the owner of the vehicle ran toward it to try and stop the men, the front passenger opened the door and pushed her away.

Grand theft--On Aug. 1 at 1:45 p.m. on Charters Avenue at Ten Oak Way. An unknown person removed a 21-inch Toro self-propelled lawnmower from the bed of a truck parked on a residential street.
