Sheriff's Report
Vandalism--Between Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 8 a.m. on Durham Court. An unknown person broke out the driver's side door to a vehicle. Damage was estimated at $200.
Burglary--Between Aug. 23 and Aug.25 from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Peach Hill Road. An unknown person entered a home through an open window. The house was for sale and empty except for two paintings, valued at $500, which were stolen.
Vandalism--Between Aug. 24 at 4:30 p.m. and Aug. 25 at 4:10 a.m. on Oak Street. An unknown person shot out the glass fixtures in front of an apartment complex using yellow paint balls fired from a paint ball gun. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Vandalism--Between Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. and Aug. 25 at 7 a.m. on Montalvo Road at Montalvo Heights Road. An unknown person shot out 13 outdoor light fixtures and light bulbs at a residence using yellow paint balls fired from a paint ball gun. Damage was estimated at $780.
Vandalism--On Aug. 21 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Cox Avenue. An unknown person scratched long lines into the side of a vehicle and scratched the word "tweeker" onto the top of the trunk and top of the driver's side door. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
Identity theft--From July 30 at noon to Aug. 23 at 4:26 p.m. on Orchard Road. An unknown person took mail and credit cards from a residential mailbox. The person then activated the credit cards and attempted to purchase items and withdraw $300 from an ATM machine in San Jose.
