Sheriff's Report

Drunk in public--On Sept. 26 at 2:20 a.m. at Big Basin Way and Saratoga Sunnyvale Avenue. An officer was dispatched to a noise disturbance complaint. When he arrived, he saw two people dancing on top of a car. The two people were slurring their speech, staggering while walking and smelled of alcohol. They were arrested because they were unable to care for their own safety and were booked into main jail.

Residential burglary--On Sept. 27 between 8:15 a.m. and 6:05 p.m. on Devon Avenue. An unknown person entered a residence by removing a window screen and crawling through the unlocked window. The person searched the house, then exited through a side door. Nothing was reported missing.

Residential burglary--On Sept. 27 between noon and 1:10 p.m. on Dundee Avenue. A person arrived at his residence and discovered a man stealing tools from his garage. The intruder fled without the tools after being confronted by the property owner.

Identity theft--Between May 17 at 8 a.m. and Sept. 18 at 8 a.m. on Prospect Road. A person checked his Bank of America checking account online and noticed numerous fraudulent transactions. An unknown person used the checking account to pay PG&E, Sprint and NEXTEL bills totaling $2,209.20.
