Sheriff's Report

Burglary--Between Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. and Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. on Jerries Drive. An unknown person entered an open garage door and took a scooter valued at $300.

Petty theft--Between Oct. 7 at 11 p.m. and Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. on Chateau Drive. An unknown person entered an unlocked car parked in a driveway and took an
MP-3 player valued at $300.

Possession of a tobacco product--On Oct 4 at 2:40 p.m. on Prospect Road. An officer observed a 16-year-old girl smoking a cigarette as she walked in the crosswalk. The girl was cited and released.

Petty theft--Between Oct. 3 at 6:15 p.m. and Oct. 4 at 1:45 p.m. on Damon Drive. An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway and took the ignition keys, a cell phone, cell phone charger, sunglasses and a camera, all valued at approximately $200.

Residential burglary--On Oct. 3 from noon to 5 p.m. on Brookhaven Drive. An unknown person entered a residence and took costume jewelry, a laptop computer and silverware. There was no sign of forced entry.

Petty theft--On Oct. 7 from midnight to 9:50 a.m. on Orchard Drive. A person went to his car in the morning and found the doors unlocked and the driver's side door ajar. Several items, totaling $325 in value, were missing.
