Sheriff's Report
Vandalism--On Oct. 28 at 9:45 p.m. on Blue Meadows Court. A person heard loud noises coming from his front yard. When he investigated, he noticed a black SUV driving away, and the windshields on his two vehicles parked in the driveway had been smashed.
Burglary--On Oct. 28 between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Colby Court. An unknown person pried open the side garage door of a home undergoing remodeling and took $1,410 in tools from the garage.
Burglary--Between Oct. 27 at 5:15 p.m. and Oct. 28 at 10:15 a.m. on Walden Court. An unknown person pried open the side garage door of a home undergoing remodeling and took 18 cases of tools valued at $15,000 from the garage.
Throwing object at moving vehicle--On Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. on Highway 85 at Quito Road. An unknown person threw a rock from the Quito Road overpass onto southbound Highway 85 and hit an RV, cracking a large portion of its front window.
Curfew violation--On Oct. 25 at 2:04 a.m. on Scully Avenue at Elisa Avenue. An officer noticed four teenagers sitting inside a parked car on Scully Avenue. All were under the age of 18 and in violation of the Saratoga curfew. Each was issued a juvenile contact report and released to their parents.
Forgery, elder abuse--Between June 19 at midnight and Aug. 16 at 11:59 p.m. on Winter Court. While investigating a battery that occurred on Oct. 13, an officer learned of the forgery of 29 checks that a juvenile took from his grandparents' checking account.
