Local children write their letters to Santa hoping for a merry Christmas morn

They have cleaned up their rooms, picked up their toys and listened to Mom and Dad. Of course, this is the time of year when there is an extra incentive for good behavior--Santa Claus is reviewing that all-important list to see who's been naughty and who's been nice.
Los Gatos and Saratoga children have written their letters to Santa at the North Pole, imploring him for puppies, dolls and the latest video games, while reminding him of their good conduct. There's no certainty they will get everything they ask for, but Santa knows what they all need.
So save an ounce of good cheer for your neighbors, leave a plate of cookies out for the jolly old elf and his traveling reindeer, and perhaps there will be some magic for you this Christmas.
