    'Princess Warrior'

Xena, a 10-month old Rex rabbit, came to the Humane Society as a stray in early November. She has a sweet disposition, loves to hop around the shelter's bunny run and will do most anything for a piece of apple. With proper care and training, rabbits can be our best friends for life. They require about as much work as a cat or a dog and should live indoors as members of the family as they are extremely social and enjoy the company of people and other pets. All homes should be bunny-proofed to avoid their chewing on wires, books or furniture. Rabbits should also be spayed or neutered. For more information regarding Xena and other best friends, call Leslie at 408.727.3383, ext 854.
