    Homs celebrate 50 years

David and Pauline Hom of Sunnyvale celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 7, with friends and family at Hong Fu restaurant. The Homs were married in San Francisco on Jan. 7, 1951, and have lived in Sunnyvale since 1953. The Homs resided on a farm on Maude Avenue, where they grew chrysanthemums until 1975.

Last summer the Homs, along with daughters Linda Frasch and Kathy Rice and their families, celebrated their anniversary on a cruise in the Mediterranean. Next month they will travel to Cape Horn and Chile to visit Cecilia Donoso de Pinochet, a Sunnyvale High School foreign exchange student who lived with the Homs in 1969.

The Homs have two daughters, and a son, Rick, who passed away in 1992, as well as three grandchildren.
