Car thieves assault businesswoman
The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is seeking two men said to have assaulted a woman and taken her 1995 BMW 535 in front of her business on Jan. 18.
Investigators said the two men confronted her as she left her business on Sunnyvale Avenue after 11 p.m. and walked toward her car.
The suspects grabbed her, demanded her car keys and purse and took them.
They pushed her to the ground and drove away. The woman was not injured.
One suspect was identified as a Hispanic male who is about 20 or 21 years of age, weighs 150 pounds, stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall and has dark-colored hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue denim cap, a red-and-white shirt with long sleeves and blue jeans.
The other was identified as a Hispanic man who is about 35 years old, weighs 160 pounds, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and has short, dark curly hair. He was last seen wearing a dark leather jacket and dark blue jeans.
The car has four doors and is dark green in color. Its license plate is 3LRC187.
