Firebirds left out

The Fremont wrestling results were inadvertently left out of the Jan. 20 story in The Sun covering the 14th annual Gary Bianchini Memorial Wrestling Tournament at Cupertino High.

Fremont wrestling stars Anthony Baza and Jamie Kashitani each placed third at the rugged event, and Daniel McCune and James Healy both won consolation titles.

Baza was third at 130 pounds for the Firebirds and Kashitani was third at 140, a year after finishing fourth in the same weight class at the tourney.

McCune won the consolation B title at 152 pounds and Healy took the consolation B crown at 135.
