Sunnyvale needs a skatepark

Sunnyvale really needs a skatepark for rollerbladers and boarders! Every time my friends and I go out skating, we are either kicked out, harassed by security guards, almost arrested by cops, cited or chased by fake rent-a-cops. This is not fun. Mountain View has a boring and way-too-small park. Menlo has a $17 park, which is nice but too expensive. It would be greatly appreciated if you wrote an article about this and gave us skaters some ideas about how to get a Sunnyvale park. If you need any pictures or anything, you can email me for more information. Thanks!

Press should stay out of president's pants

'Tain't funny, McGee. I am really tired of the media emphasis on the sex lives of movie stars, the royal family, Clinton and dead presidents. Whatever happened to not guilty until proven? Is this a case of treason? Of trying to overthrow the government? I think the special prosecutor should be hanged by his balls and these copycat stupid women who want their name in print by any means necessary, eliminated from the news. I am really tired of reading and hearing about it.

Historically speaking, you will find that most powerful men in history--whether politicians or entrepreneurs (Vanderbilt, The Donald, Prince Charles, Napoleon, Caesar and Henry VIII, to name a few)--had powerful sexual appetites. Perhaps it goes with the drive for dominance in their field. I really don't care to hear about it. It certainly does not help the image of the U.S. in the world and is divisive. It is too bad when all the papers act like the tabloids. I suspect Republican dirty tricks. They have been harping on things ever since Clinton was elected and haven't succeeded yet. Oh, for Harry Truman!

In regards to a separate issue, I notice that the McWhorters in Cupertino is moving to a bigger and better site. When I first moved to Cupertino we had a little 'mom and pop' stationery store that McWhorters later bought out. I have really enjoyed having the post office annex there since I seem to do a great deal of letter writing. They are said to be replacing the annex with a pay-for-mail-box place which I will not use, so I guess it is back to the long lines at the P.O.

I wonder how long it will take them to figure out that the good will they generate from housing the annex will not follow?
