    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Vandalism--Jan. 21, 11:41 a.m., 500 block of Sunnymount Lane. Between midnight and 11:30 a.m., the unknown suspect(s) removed emblems from the backs of three vehicles parked in the front driveway.

    Theft by Credit Card--Jan. 21, 1:53 p.m., 100 block of E. El Camino Real. The suspect obtained the victim's credit card, when had been left at an automotive store. The suspect then purchased items at both the automotive store and an electronics store at a different location without the knowledge or permission of its owner. The credit card was a Visa and items worth $1,500 were purchased using the card.

    Fraudulent Use of Access Card--Jan. 25, 12:38 a.m., 1000 block of E. El Camino Real. On Jan. 24 at approximately 8 p.m., the suspect committed fraudulent use of an access card in an inn at the above location. The suspect reserved a room at the inn with a Visa card number that she was not authorized to use.

    Commercial Burglary--Jan. 25, 10:26 p.m., 1000 Lakeside Drive. Between 8:30 and 9:15 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered a room located in a hotel at the above location. While inside the room the suspect(s) removed one white gold necklace with a diamond worth $150 and four bottles of perfume worth $150.
