The Junior League of San Jose is seeking nominations for volunteers to be honored at its 28th annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, scheduled for April 25 at San Jose's Fairmont Hotel.
Nominees will be evaluated on the following qualities: initiative, creativity, leadership, impact and effectiveness. All nominees will receive a certificate; approximately 25 will receive Silver Bowl awards. One top volunteer will receive the Alexis Award.
The Junior League of San Jose is a nonprofit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
