De Anza Blue Heat needs players

The De Anza Blue Heat is looking for soccer players for under-13 select and under-14 development teams for the spring season. Players are needed for all positions, and player evaluations will be held Feb. 17 and 24, 10-11:30 a.m., at Jollyman Park in Cupertino.

Sports Scholarships

The National Sports Foundation offers information on college athletic scholarships for student athletes in high school and junior college. Tennis Camp

A week-long tennis camp for youth ages 7-16 will be held Feb. 19-23 at the Cupertino Sports Center across from De Anza Community College.

Tae Kwon Do

The Northwest YMCA is offering a Tae Kwon Do clinic for children ages 4 and up on Feb. 20-22, 9 a.m.-noon.

The cost is $100 for the clinic, which is designed to develop respect, self-discipline, academic improvement, physical conditioning and self-confidence.
