Town and Country goes into escrow

The sale of Town and Country Village appears imminent, as the property recently went into escrow, according to property manager Cole Bridges.

The prospective buyers toured the shopping center and met with shop owners last week, Bridges said.

Three partners of the Dubrovnich group met with Bridges last week, he said. Bridges walked them through the center, introducing the men to their prospective tenants.

The Dubrovnich group is working with another financial firm, Cypress Investments, on the purchase of the center.

The Dubrovnich group could not be located for comment.

The representative from Cypress Investments who is dealing with the sale was not available for comment at press time.

The price tag on Town and Country is $10 million, according to Bridges. No deal has been finalized, but it will be announced very soon, he said.

"The papers haven't been signed yet," Bridges said of the sale.

Bridges has maintained that the new owners of Town and Country intend to keep the center as is and says they will "keep it retail."
