    Public Safety


    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Possession--Feb. 20, 11:30 a.m., Knickerbocker at Heatherstone. Police responded to a report of a person down in a vehicle. They discovered the suspect asleep. He was unable to provide identification, and upon further inspection, 18 baggies of marijuana were discovered. The suspect was arrested and booked in mail jail.

    Armed Robbery--Feb. 19, 8:36 p.m., 700 block East El Camino Real. Two masked, armed suspects entered Erik's Deli and left with an undisclosed amount of money. They fled the area on foot. There were no reported injuries. The suspects were reported to be a white male and a Hispanic male, both of medium build. Any person with information is urged to contact Captain Pigott at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department at 730-7199.

    Domestic Violence--Feb. 19, 1:15 a.m., 700 block Santa Susana at Collisa. A 29-year-old male was booked into main jail after being arrested for domestic violence.

    Possession--Feb. 17, 800 block Nieves at Hillview. A 23-year-old female, a 27-year-old female, a 41-year-old male, and a 25-year old male were all arrested for three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell. Officers from the Sunnyvale Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant for controlled substances. The drugs were located in the purse of one suspect, along with a scale, pager, and a ledger.
