The following incidents were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Attempted auto theft--Feb. 18, 9:55 p.m. Two men fled from a car parked on the 300 block of Waverly Avenue after being seen by a nearby witness. One man was inside the car, and another was outside. The one inside the car was apprehended, and the other was detained and released.

Strong-arm robbery-- Feb. 18, 10:26 p.m. Two women walking on the 200 block of W. Washington Avenue were jumped by a group of women and men. After one victim was punched in the face by a woman, the other victim was jumped from behind and held with force by several males. Her wallet was stolen from her rear pocket. The first victim feared for her safety and fled with minor injuries. Four suspects have been arrested.

Auto Burglary--Feb. 17-18. A man parked and locked his car on the 600 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue and left it overnight. When returning to it in the morning, he found the car had been broken into and his cellular phone was missing. Suspects are unknown.

Forgery--Feb. 16, 4:50 p.m. A man was arrested on the 900 block of Washington Avenue on felony counts of fraudulent use of an access card, forgery of an access card and conspiracy. He was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
