    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Commercial Grand Theft--Feb. 10, 2:25 p.m., 1000 block of E. Arques Avenue. On the above date and time, the suspect selected and concealed property valued at $599.99 upon his person. The suspect subsequently left the store without paying for the property. The suspect was placed under citizen's arrest for theft. An officer subsequently took custody of suspect and booked him into county jail.

    Commercial Theft--Feb. 10, 9 p.m., 1000 block of E. Arques Avenue. On the above date and time, the suspect selected and concealed property valued at $299.99 upon her person. The suspect subsequently left the store without paying for the property. Officer took custody of suspect and booked her into county jail.

    Vandalism-City Property--Feb. 11, 7:24 p.m., 700 block of Morse Avenue. An officer was dispatched to a park to take a vandalism report. The officer met with the reporting party--a park worker--and was told that the unknown suspect(s) had vandalized the park.

    Storage Shed Burglary--Feb. 11, 11:04 a.m., 600 block of S. Bernardo Drive. Between 6 p.m. on Feb. 9 and 11 a.m. on Feb. 11, a storage shed was burglarized. An unknown suspect(s) stole a plastic tote with miscellaneous hand tools: two long-nose pliers worth $24, three pipe wrenches worth $45, two hand wrenches worth $20 and 10 screwdrivers worth $65.
