    Don't change name

I have been a resident of the Fox Hollow community since 1988 and much to my total surprise on Feb. 20, I found out that a group wants to rename our street. There are 100 homes in Fox Hollow and I know of no one who wants to see this happen.

We were not informed and are not in favor of this at all. According to the article, this group has only been in the area since 1994. I am not sure anyone realizes the impact a name change would have on all of us. Not only is it not necessary for the reason given (their temple is located on this street) but the hassle and inconvenience involved with an address change is beyond belief. My husband and I work every day and we do not look forward to going to the DMV, or our banks and contacting our creditors, our insurance companies, our friends and family, etc., with change of address forms.

I think the Sunnyvale City Council and the mayor should remember that just because we are over 55 years of age in this community, we still vote and take that privilege to heart at our ages!
