Adult basketball

The Sunnyvale adult basketball league begins its eight-week season on March 29. Games are played Sundays, Tuesdays or Thursdays. The registration fee is $225 per team, plus $10 for each nonresident, and the deadline for registration is March 13. For more information, call Gary Brown at 730-7334.

Special Olympics

Track and field practice begins for the Special Olympics Santa Clara County program, and the organization is looking for volunteers for the spring program. A volunteer orientation session will be held on March 10, 7 p.m., at the Special Olympics office, 5730 Chambertin Drive, San Jose. For more information, call 267-2734.

Nothing But Net

Bud Ogden's Nothing But Net instructional basketball league spring season begins March 21 at West Valley Community College in Saratoga.

The league is open to boys and girls in grades 3-11.

RT Spring League

The annual RT Spring League basketball program every Sunday, 3 p.m. or 5 p.m., through March 13 at Del Mar.
