    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Domestic Violence--Feb. 25, 10:32 a.m., 1000 block of Lakebird Avenue. A false crime report was knowingly filed at the above location. The suspect reported to a Sunnyvale peace officer that she had been battered--with visible injury--by her husband. After her husband was arrested the next day per a felony affidavit, the suspect admitted to fabricating the incident to officers in order to seek revenge on her husband.

    Vandalism-Graffiti--Feb. 25, 7 a.m., 700 block of Morse Avenue. Between Feb. 18 at 7 a.m. and Feb. 25 at 7 a.m., unknown suspect(s) used spray paint to put tags on the west side of a middle school located at the above address.

    Grand Theft--Feb. 24, 12:06 p.m., 900 block of E. El Camino Real. Unknown suspect(s) removed a moneybag containing $1,287 from the office.

    Auto Burglary--Feb. 24, 12:20 p.m., 1100 block of W. Olive Street. The unknown suspect(s) entered the locked bed portion of a truck, which was secured with a fiberglass cover. Once opened, the suspect(s) removed a newly purchased spare tire worth $92.

    Grand Theft-Burglary--Feb. 24, 10:54 a.m., 1200 block of Lakeside Drive. The suspect entered the victim's patio area and removed a bicycle. The suspect stepped over the patio wall to gain access. The suspect then fled the area with the bicycle. The bicycle was a mountain bike worth $1,100.
