    Pet of the week

Nike is a year-old, male guinea pig who was surrendered to the Humane Society as his previous owners could no longer care for him. Nike may be a little shy at first, but warms up in no time, expressing squeals of joy and gurgles of contentment. Guinea pigs are special little critters that require a lot of love and attention. The Humane Society often has guinea pigs and rabbits available for adoption. If you're interested in adopting a pet, the Santa Clara County Humane Society is open seven days a week for adoption.

For more information regarding Nike or other wonderful critters available for adoption, call Leslie at 408.727.3383, extension 854. The Humane Society is open seven days a week for adoption: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30-6:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m.
