    No survey needed

So 389 of Sunnyvale's 130,000 residents responded to the city council's "Quality of Life" survey headed by City Councilman Jim Roberts. That's .002992%, and Assistant City Manager Amy Chan considered the overall turnout to be "'very significant." It cost only a measly $20,000 and required three open houses.

And the city is interpreting it? In the first place, no one needs a survey to ascertain what the no. 1 problem is in the whole area (traffic) and just wait till the five four-story apartment buildings in the Cherry Pit unleash their cars on Sunnyvale Avenue and El Camino!

Every time the idea of that .002992% providing a valid survey for 130,000 people has popped into my head today I've had to laugh out loud!
