The following incidents were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
March 18, 6:55 p.m.--After responding to a fight at Acalanes and Coronado streets, officers stopped four males suspected of participating in the brawl. After a pat search of one of the male suspects, officers removed a 3 and-a-half inch fixed blade from the suspect. The 23-year-old was charged with possession of a deadly weapon and held on $500 bail at county jail.
March 17, 8:40 p.m.--A male entered Fry's Electronics at 1077 E. Arques and stuffed his jacket with $984.87 worth of merchandise. After being stopped by security guards outside the store, the suspect ran. He was caught and held under citizens arrest until officers arrived. The suspect was charged with grand theft and sent to county jail.
March 17, 10:45 p.m.--Officers approached a single car in the darkened parking lot at 685 Almanor. When officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle, they noticed a marijuana pipe in the car. After searching the vehicle, officers removed 1.5 grams of cocaine and a 3.67 ounce can of mace. Suspect was arrested and sent to county jail.
March 15, 11:00 p.m.--The owner of a truck parked at 1245 Lakeside returned to his car to find the window broken and his silver briefcase filled with $4,000 worth of electronic sensors missing.
