    Bone Density Testing

    Sponsored by the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education, Longs Drugs will hold bone-density testing on March 30, from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at 576 El Camino Real in Sunnyvale.     Acapella quartet hosts High Tea with the Aquanettas

    The Aquanetta's Woman's Acapella Quartet will host the High Tea singing event on April 8, at 4 p.m. at the Sunnyvale Community Center, 550 Remington Center, Sunnyvale. The wacky and talented singing group will perform in beehive hairdos, silver platform shoes and outrageous outfits to benefit the Support Network for Battered Women.     Ukranian Egg Painting

    The Sunnyvale Senior Center is hosting a day of egg painting on April 7, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the senior center, room 201. Pysanky--Ukrainian Easter eggs--are hand-decorated eggs made with an ancient wax resist process. No artistic background is necessary. Participants must bring 12 white eggs, raw and not refrigerated, four plain votive candles and a pencil. Cost for the workshop is $15. To preregister or for more information, call 408.730.7360.

    Center gives free citizenship preparation classes

    Sunnyvale-Cupertino Adult and Community Education will hold two free citizenship preparation classes from April 2 through June 6. The citizenship preparation class will teach participants how to fill out the application forms for naturalization, about U.S. history and culture, and about federal, state and local governments. The class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in room 95 at Fremont High School, 1279 Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road. The ESL citizenship preparation class will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. in room 90 at Fremont High School. Registration will take place during the first night of classes.     Project 'Connections'

    The American Association of University Women, in conjunction with the Sunnyvale Library, is hosting a project, called Connections, that provides group training and individual mentoring for women who have had little or no exposure to the Internet. The library staff is making the online computers available an hour before the library opens for the project. The session on March 31, will be translated into Vietnamese for women from the Sunnyvale Community Services. The association is looking for more girls and young women to be mentors.     Crab Feed Fundraiser

    The Fremont Union High Schools Foundation, the Rotary Club of Cupertino and the Foothill-De Anza Colleges Foundation will host an all-you-can-eat crab feed on March 30, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at De Anza College's Hinson Campus Center, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino. Cost for the fundraiser is $30 per person, which includes food and parking. Participants will feast on fresh cold crab, pasta, salad and bread. Silent and live auctions will be held along with a prize drawing. Tickets may be purchased at all Fremont Union High Schools and the district office. For more information, call 408.522.2243.

    Promoting Heathy Living

    The Marianist Center and the Nurses Healing Center will host a day of holistic, energy-related healing techniques, including massage, reiki qi gong and guided imagery on March 30, from 1 to 5 p.m. Cost for the event is $40, lunch is $10. Space is limited, and preregistration is required.

    On April 5 The Marianist Center will host a healthy living workshop led by Esther Johnson from 7 to 9 p.m. The workshop will include relaxation techniques through visualization and imagination. Cost is $15, advance registration is required. For more information, call 408.253.6279.
