    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Grand Theft--March 22, 11:06 a.m., 600 block of S. Mary Avenue. Between Jan. 23 and March 20, unknown suspect(s) have been taking cellular phones from Star Cellular without permission of the owner. Thefts from the company have been occurring for a while, but not until the other day did the victim do an inventory and realize he was missing 12 phones since Jan. 1. Losses totaled $2,879.

    Grand Theft/Latin Lotto--March 21, 2:50 p.m., 100 block of E. El Camino Real. Two unidentified female suspects worked in concert to defraud victim out of $19,000. The ruse was the promise to divide the winnings of a lottery ticket, which was later found to be worthless.

    Grand Theft/Computers--March 20, 5:15 p.m., 500 block of N. Lawrence Expressway. On March 20, between 4:11 and 4:30 p.m., a grand theft occurred from a vehicle. The victim left his vehicle unlocked with several computer servers inside. The vehicle was left parked in a lot unattended. Victim returned and found 15 servers missing. Losses totaled $15,000.

    Vandalism--March 20, 4 p.m., 800 block of Lakeknoll Drive. During daytime hours on March 20, suspect threw a rock through a window on the garage door of victim's residence.

    Burglary/Auto--March 19, 11:24 a.m., 900 block of Arques Avenue. Between March 16, at 11 p.m. and March 17, at 2 a.m., unknown suspect(s) removed $1,200 worth of property and cash from victim's vehicle and fled the area.
