    Members of Vocal Flight on March 17 celebrated the release of their third Compact Disc. The release marks the third work produced by the Vocal Jazz Program at De Anza College. Directed by Roger Letson, Vocal Flight won the Down Beat magazine award for best vocal jazz group among colleges and universities.     Guide Dog Benefit

    Guide Dog Benefit: Quarter Note, a Sunnyvale bar and grill, is having a benefit for Guide Dogs for the Blind on Sunday, April 2. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Quarter Note will be having a charity auction, a Corvette car show and barbecue, live music and a magic show. Only those over 21 years old can be inside, but the outside car show is open to all ages. Quarter Note is located at 1214 Apollo Way at Lawrence Expressway.
