According to police reports, Thomas Frasher, 38, said he was cleaning his gun and was startled by the knock at his door, and he accidentally fired the gun. The case is currently under investigation, but Public Safety spokesperson Cpt. Chuck Eanuff said that there is no indication that the shooting was intentional. "There was no relationship between these two people, which is what you look for in determining whether a shooting is accidental or not," Eanuff said. The victim was taken to a local hospital and the wound was treated.
