    It's time to start thinking about the fall Pop Warner Football season, and youngsters ages 7-15 living in Sunnyvale and Cupertino can sign up as either football players or cheerleaders.

    Registration will be held on April 17 and May 15, 9 a.m.-noon, at Fairoaks Park in Sunnyvale.

    Jaguars tryouts

    The De Anza Jaguars, a girls Class 3 (competitive) soccer team planning to move up to the Class 1 (select) level in the fall, is holding tryouts for players born between Aug. 1, 1988, and 31, 1990, for the spring and fall seasons.

    Tryouts at Hoover Park in Cupertino at 4 p.m. on March 31 and April 2.

    Ambassadors hold tryouts

    The Silicon Valley Ambassadors have announced tryouts for the fall season.

    Tryouts will be held in the Cupertino area for boys and girls under-10 teams in the Class 1 (select) and Class 3 (competitive) divisions; for boys under-14 in the Class 1 division (tryouts held every Thursday and Saturday through April); and for boys under-15 in the Class 1 division.

    Soccer camp

    De Anza Community College head soccer coach Kulwant Singh will host a spring soccer camp for players ages 5-16 on April 19-23, 9 a.m.-noon each day. The cost for the five-day camp is $95 per session, and the camp will be conducted at De Anza College. For more information, call 864-8745.
